“Jean’s Cuvée” represents a singular moment in Chateau St. Jean’s history. The wine is a tribute to Jean Sheffield Merzoian, the namesake of the winery and the “saintly” woman who kept its three founders in line. Her legacy is etched in the property’s iconic 1920s chateau and the statue that still graces the grounds.

This unique Bordeaux Blend is crafted entirely from Chateau St. Jean Estate vineyards and is Winemaker Lisa Evich’s inaugural release. “Jean’s Cuvee” will mature for 18 months in French oak, promising a refined structure and velvety tannins. Expect a captivating bouquet of black cherry, plum, and oak spice, leading to a palate rich with dark fruit, black tea leaf, and dried herbs, culminating in a toasty, elegant finish.
