ABOUT THE WINE:

“Triple Crown” is a blend from three of Donum Estate’s vineyards in Sonoma County, each sourced from a block planted to the revered Calera clone of Pinot Noir. Known for producing wines of remarkable depth, structure and age-worthiness, the Calera clone imparts signature elegance and complexity to this cuvée. The combination of fruit from these distinct sites results in a wine that embodies the richness of Sonoma County’s terroir, offering layers of dark fruit, earthy undertones and refined tannins that unfold beautifully with every sip.

Founded in 2001, Donum remains committed to producing world-class wines while preserving natural resources. As one of the first Sonoma County wineries to achieve Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC) status for its five Estate vineyards, Donum prioritizes sustainability through organic farming, soil enrichment, integrated pest management and biodiversity. Located in Carneros, the Estate features a winemaking facility, a contemporary hospitality experience, an organic farm and one of the world’s largest accessible private sculpture collections—The Donum Collection.

This Pinot Noir exemplifies the signature characteristics of the Calera clone, offering dark fruit and a distinctive floral note. Vibrant natural acidity provides balance and structure, while each vineyard contributes unique elements: earthiness from the Donum Estate Vineyard’s clay soils, minerality from TFV’s loamy terrain and rich, expressive fruit from Winside Vineyard’s prime location in the Russian River Valley.
